The Beginnings of This Year's Garden!
All we need are kids to help us plant and harvest all of the great organic veggies we can eat! Fruit trees and strawberry/blueberry plants arrive very soon. So far the sweet pea pods, beets, basil, spinach and carrots are growing nicely!

The House
Puppies!
Our Cocker Spaniel puppies. Dwayne and Matilda were rescued this Christmas. They are a little too young still to play with the kids, but they are doing great with their training, and we know they'll be able to play soon.
Bunnies!
This is Harold, he is a Rhinelander Rabbit. He was rescued in 2005, and is a very sweet and friendly guy. He loves kids, and having his ears scratched, and popcorn.
This is Harold and Rue. Rue is a Standard American Short Hair Rabbit. She was also rescued, but not until 2007, when she and Harold met, and fell in love. They are bonded for life now, and you'll rarely find one without the other close behind. They love to cuddle and play games and eat lots of lettuce! Rue is shy, but once she gets to know you, she's very loving. She also likes kids, if they are gentle with her.
Piggies!
These two are the newest addition to our family. Yabbers and Minnifield are both girl guinea pigs. They are still less than a year old. They love to be played with, and to eat, and to cuddle. They like to nestle down in your lap, or arms, or even up against your face. They are very sweet. Minni had a rough start, she was in the hospital, and critically ill for a couple of days in November, when she was only a month old. She recovered, but has a slight limp, and a little brain damage. She's especially loving, and likes to feel safe and warm.
